Director of Fiscal Services/Board Secretary:

Trinity Area School District is seeking a Director of Fiscal Services/Board Secretary for permanent 12-month position available 2017.  Student enrollment:  3,100.  Budget:  $54,000,000.  Experience as school business administrator preferred.  Responsible for administration of district finances, including budget preparation, fiscal planning and analysis, PDE state and federal financial reporting, payroll, accounting, employee benefits, investments, debt service and bond issuance.  Must demonstrate professional ethics and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication skills, solid understanding of legislative and financial issues facing school districts.

Mr. Minnick graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics.  He later returned to the University of Pittsburgh at the graduate level for his secondary mathematics certification.  For  twelve years he taught at various schools throughout western Pennsylvania.  During that time he obtained his Masters degree in Administration.  Mr. Minnick was hired as the assistant principal at the middle school in 2002, and served as principal of Trinity East Elementary from  December, 2008 to May, 2015 when he was named Director of Human Resources and Accountability .
