Principal's Newsletter - North

September, 2016

Dear Trinity North Learning Community:

We should be very proud of our students and families for the wonderful opening of school this year.  I would like to thank our Parents Club volunteer moms who were here to help and welcome all the students the first few days of school.

By now you have all received a welcome letter from your child’s teacher.  I’m sure you are looking forward to seeing the teachers and your child’s classroom at open house.  Again, the Open House dates are:  Kindergarten, grades 2 and 4 on Tuesday, 9/6/16 and on Thursday, 9/8/16 for grades 1,3, and 5.  Open houses are from 5:30-7:30 PM.

Invitations will be sent home with the children for Breakfast with Grandparents at the end of the month.  Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, grades 1 and 2 have their breakfast on Thursday, 9/29 and grades 3-5 have their breakfast on Friday 9/30.  Adult breakfasts cost $2.25 and children’s breakfast cost $1.25.  Please add funds to the student’s cafeteria account prior to your breakfast date.  If you need to pay for your breakfast with cash, please bring the exact amount.  We do not keep money in the cafeteria and will not be able to make change for you.

Trinity will celebrate homecoming with a district-wide parade again this year.  The parade begins at 6:30 PM on 9/22.  The parade begins at Trinity West and travels to

the football field at the Middle School.  This is a fun way to celebrate homecoming in the community.

For your advance planning:

October 6 is picture day

October 21 is a 2 hour early dismissal day

October 28 is the Halloween parade (approximate start is 1:30) parties to follow

Sincerely,

Dr. Beth Tully
