Principal, Dr. Beth Tully

Dr. Tully has worked in the educational field since she graduated from The Ohio State University a long time ago. She now serves the Trinity Area School District as the Principal of Trinity North Elementary School.

Dr. Tully's teaching career began in Columbus, Ohio where she was a special education teacher. When she moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts she taught in a middle school. Her life then took her to Maryland where she taught in both a private school and in the public school settings. When her family settled in this area she resumed her teaching career in McKeesport and enrolled in the graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh to earn her principal certifications and her doctorate degree.

Her career as a Principal began in Bentworth where she worked for three years at the Elementary Center. Having only one elementary school in the district created the need for her to be involved in curriculum, special education and programming for the elementary grades.

Prior to accepting the position at Trinity, Dr. Tully was the Principal of Park and Franklin Primary Schools in the Steel Valley School District. During her time in the Steel Valley School District, Park School was recognized for academic growth by earning the Keystone Award for PSSA performance each year.

Dr. Tully attended the University of Pittsburgh to earn both Elementary and Secondary Principal certifications, her Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility and her doctorate in Administration and Policy Studies. She was honored to present her dissertation to a conference of superintendents and school leaders in New Orleans in 2002.
