Trinity North follows the Trinity Area School District's Attendance Policy. Information for families is here. Written excuses must be sent to school within 3 days of the child's return to school for excusal. Excuses may also be emailed to khenck@trinityhillers.net, or entered via Skyward Family Access.

Building Hours

During the school year, building hours are 8 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday.

During the summer, building hours are 7 AM-4 PM, Monday-Thursday.

The building is closed on all District holidays.

Bus Transportation

A majority of buses transporting Trinity North students are from GG&C Bus Company, with one bus from Schweinebraten Bus Company. All buses have assigned seats. Students must ride their assigned bus and enter/exit via their assigned stop. All buses are equipped with audio/video recording systems. Chain of Command

To best meet your needs, Trinity North adheres to a chain of command when handling concerns or questions.

FIRST LEVEL--TEACHER

When you have a question or concern about an assignment or classroom procedure, please contact the teacher first. Teachers should respond within one business day, except when out of office.

If you require additional assistance...

SECOND LEVEL--PRINCIPAL

If a teacher is unable to resolve the situation, please contact the building principal to discuss. A meeting may be setup with the parent, teacher, and principal to resolve the situation.

If you require additional assistance...

THIRD LEVEL--ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

If the situation is still unresolved, you may request a meeting with the Assistant Superintendent. This may include the building principal.

If you require additional assistance...

FOURTH LEVEL--SUPERINTENDENT

If the Assistant Superintendent is unable to resolve your concern, you may request a meeting with the Superintendent.

If you require additional assistance...

FIFTH LEVEL--SCHOOL BOARD

Should your concern still require attention, you may contact the Board of School Directors.

Communication

Trinity North uses the following mediums to communicate with you:

  • Skylert: This is our automated caller and email/text system. Please ensure your phone and email address is correct in our system. For changes, please contact Mrs. Digon at 724-223-2000 x6510 or email familyaccess@trinityhillers.net
  • Social Media: Follow us on Twitter (@tnetrinitypride) or like us on Facebook (facebook.com/tnetrinitypride).
  • Phone Calls: Families will be contacted directly with information related to their child.
  • Class Dojo/Classtag/Remind: All of these systems may be used by individual teachers/teacher teams to communicate with you.

Parent/Family Club

Trinity North has an active Parent/Family Club (PFC). The PFC meets on the first Monday (second Monday when school not in session on first Monday) of the month at 6:30 PM in the Trinity North Cafeteria.

Special Education

If your child currently has an IEP or 504, please contact their case manager directly for assistance.

TEAMology/PBIS

TEAMology is a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum that Trinity North uses to reinforce building-wide expectations and teach essential skills for students. Bi-monthly meetings are held in each classroom. Included are helping others, problem solving, anti-bullying, positive change, resiliency, and leadership. Volunteers

Volunteers are welcome at Trinity North! All volunteers must have all required state clearances (Child Abuse History, PA State Police, FBI) and complete a volunteer training scheduled by the building principal to be added to the volunteer list. For clearance links, please visit Human Resources.
