Thomas Samosky, High School Principal

Mr. Samosky joined Trinity School District in February, 2015 as High School Principal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercyhurst College and began his teaching career as a coach and counselor at The Academy Schools in Pittsburgh. After completing his Master of Education Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, he accepted a Special Education teaching position at Bethel Park High School where he also served as Dean of Discipline and Assistant Principal before moving to Chartiers Valley High School. He spent 9 years at Chartiers Valley High School where he served as Assistant Principal, Co-Principal and Principal of Student Affairs for the district. Mr. Samosky resides in Cecil Township, PA, with his wife Gina and three children.

Eric Lauver was appointed as Assistant Principal at Trinity High School in July 2017. Previously, Mr. Lauver served as Assistant Principal at Trinity Middle School from November 2015 to July 2017. Mr. Lauver came to Trinity as the director of the Trinity High School Marching Band. Previously, he has held appointments as an Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at Duquesne University; an Adjunct Faculty member of the City Music Center at Duquesne University; Elementary Band Director/Music Teacher in the award-winning Bethel Park School District; Director of Bands at Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, Maryland; Associate Marching Band Director at Moon Area High School in Moon Township, Pennsylvania; Saxophone/Woodwind Technician at Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Marching Band Assistant Director/Chamber Music Coach/Studio Teacher in the West Allegheny School District in Imperial, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Lauver is the co-author of The Complete Saxophonist, a comprehensive saxophone technique book, published by Northeastern Music Publishers. He is in demand as a clinician, presenting at national conferences on a variety of arts and technology issues in education, including composition and flipped learning. He is passionate about providing a positive, welcoming learning climate that embraces 21st Century Skills while using data to drive instruction.

Mr. Lauver lives with his wife, Rie, who is a Music Teacher in the North Hills School District, and two sons, Alex and Aaron in Jefferson Hills.

Craig Uram

Mr. Uram has been a teacher at Trinity Area School District since the 2011-2012 school year.  He earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Robert Morris University in Elementary Education in 2008. Mr. Uram completed his special education certificate in 2009 at Waynesburg University. He also completed his Masters of Education Degree from Waynesburg University in Instructional Leadership with Principal Certification.

Mr. Uram began his teaching career at North Hills School District during the 2008 school year. He then accepted a job working for Intermediate Unit 1 as an Autistic Support Teacher during the 2010-2011 school year at Trinity High School. He then accepted a teaching position at Trinity West Elementary in December of 2011 as a 5th grade teacher and has been teaching at Trinity West since 2011. He also has served the school district as a coach in football and baseball.  Mr. Uram resides in South Strabane Township, with his wife Katie and two children.
