Dear Parent/Guardian,

Beginning Monday, September 8, 2025, PA American Water will begin construction at Park Avenue and South Main Street. Unfortunately, this project, which will inevitably disrupt transportation, is expected to last approximately one month. 

Trinity Area School District has met with PA American Water to develop a tentative traffic plan. Together, we have worked to:
-  Establish alternative routes for road closures and one-lane traffic flow; and
-  Begin and end daily construction at specific times to reduce congestion during students’ arrival and dismissal.

Please be aware that, despite these efforts, road closures and one-lane traffic will create delays. We want to make sure that our bus drivers, student drivers, and parents/guardians who drop off and pick up their children from school are aware and can plan accordingly. To help reduce congestion and ensure safer, smoother transportation for everyone, we strongly encourage students to ride their assigned bus whenever possible. Student safety remains our top priority, so we will continue to monitor traffic conditions and adjust plans as necessary.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to ensure our students’ and staff members’ safety, and keep traffic flowing as much as possible during construction.
